Goals from Craig Fagan and Stuart Elliott continued Hull's recent renaissance and condemned sorry Wolves to a fifth straight away defeat.
Fagan struck after 13 minutes, rifling home Damien Delaney's flick-on from Danny Mill's free-kick.
The winger then turned provider as he crossed for Elliott to wrap up victory with 15 minutes remaining.
The only negative point of a productive afternoon for Hull came when Jon Parkin was stretchered off in the first half.
